G's Balance

G stood in the dark, longer than I would expect, breathing in and out the horror. It took a long growl from the monster to break the silence, and G was shouting, her voice and very own self trembling. "What do you want from me?"
Moving towards G, the monster growled another long and deep growl. When it finnaly stood right in front of her, its nosetrills facing her soft skinned cheecks.
Now she could easily make out the silent groans of the neighbour, who was moving a little from side to side on the pavement; his eyes shut and his hands covering his wound. G wanted to help him, G wanted to say something, anything that would make sense. She wanted to tell him "I don't know these freaks" though she knew she'd be lying. But G wanted to lie to him, needed to lie to him but right now she could do none of these things, because the putrid breath of the monster made it even impossible to breathe.
"What do you want from me, Tenebrae?" she said, this time hardly audible.
And that was my que.

"I think it is quite enough Foedus," I say, which Foedus responds by taking couple of steps away from G. She is now breathing easy and once she gets hold of her breathing, she crouches right next to the neighbour. "Hello, Gaia."
She doesn't answer, instead, she examines the bleeding wound of the neighbour, trying to remove the blood on her way with the sleeve of her shirt.
"I take all the trouble to come here and pay you a visit, and this is your way of hospitality? I am surely not impressed."
"Bastard."
Foedus snarls but I hold up my hand to calm him. "Now I do not believe you understand the balance here Gaia, I suggest you watch your words."
She doesn't answer, which leads to a long silence, except the moaning of the neighbour. Then it takes her the neighbour to open his eyes to break the silence, because she can't take it anymore.
"I need to help him."
"Oh, well."
"Your hideous monster did this to him. You, did this to him! He doesn't even know me."
Foedus growls, obviously offended, and right about it too.
"He was going to," I say looking down on them, "was he not?"

The Ridiculous G

Now G was terrified. Terrified from the new alluring neighbor's deep, bloody cut. Terrified from the empty look in his meaningless eyes. It was just about the time for her to close her eyes and wait for 'him' to hold her hand, of course with a promise that everything is gonna be okay at the end. Did she believed the word 'end'? She wasn't in the position to give a damn. Besides she didn't care, that hand was the only thing she needed right now. D was drunk. The new alluring neighbor was bloody. Cat was a coward. And the monster- well he was just too ugly for the pretty. So? She just didn't close her eyes. Her eyes were wide open. She didn't like to cry. Before surrendering and facing it, she resisted the tears. For a moment or a couple of seconds she felt more Marilyn than Audrey. All this years she avoided from her pretty pink cover. 'Till now she depended on a dictionary to light her way. She was all alone and pretty in this pure darkness, as might be expected the monster had not been counted. This was 'the revenge of the lamp,' what a ridiculous conclusion she whispered to herself, still not aware of her situation. Light blue, almost white eyes were watching her with such a curiosity.

There were blood on the lips of horde of man, there were blood on the pavement caused by the new alluring neighbor and there were blood on her blue striped pull-over; yet a lamp was the only thing that seemed to interest her. What a ridiculous girl, I thought.

Dawn of the G

G and he were standing at the door, doing nothing but looking at each other. If only it was a regular day, G would remember that she hated being called G as her name was Gaia-a very cliché Latin name yes-, and would ask him what he was doing at the threshold of her house, but it wasn't a regular day. If it was a regular day, then the annoying couple who lived next door would hear Gaia's screams as a man-at least that's what Gaia thought he was-attacked the man at the door from behind and bit his neck, but I told you, it definitely was not a regular day. The screams of Gaia that lasted for minutes were only added to the other people's screams as a horde of man-again that's what the people thought-started attacking the people of the quiet neighbourhood of Gaia.

Now, she truly didn't know what to do.

G's First Move

G moved to the living room with the bowl in her hands. She reached out for the remote with her free hand, hoping to find something good on TV. Maybe a movie from 70's she thought. Diane Keaton was her personal favourite and something like "Annie Hall" or "Manhattan" could make her night. Then again, she wouldn't say no to "A Clockwork Orange" either. G was changing the channels instantly when Cat came in and started to move between her legs, tickling her. She put the bowl in her hands aside and picked up Cat, calling her silly names in a tone she only used with Cat. It was then she saw the shadow in front of the next house. It was similar to a silhouette of a man, of him to be more precise, and it was simply lingering there. "What should we do now?" asked G to Cat, in that same sweet tone. Cat answered by purring softly, to which G responded by making a face and whispering "The blame is on you". G went to the front door of the house, waited a couple of seconds before turning the handle and stepped outside with slow motions. She drew the big flower pot in front of the door so it wouldn't close. He greeted G with a fast nod. He was wearing a black tracksuit bottom and a red baggy shirt. "Cold, huh?" he said, his arms crossed in front of his chest. "Yeah," G answered hugging Cat tighter.
